Velocity turned 1 on March 23rd. We had a death in the family and the funeral happened to be on her birthday, and my dad was out of town, so we postponed the celebration.
We were finally able to get everyone together a few days later for dinner and presents. We had sour cream potatoes, deer roast, and a chocolate Texas sheet cake. (Velocity's favorite). We then opened presents, being the first baby and grand-baby on both sides she got lots!

Velocity was 7 lbs 7 ozs and 20.5 inches at birth. At her 1 year check up she was 17 lbs 7 ounces and about 30 inches. She is eating anything that mom and dad eats (well eating it or throwing it on the ground..). We started her on cows milk but it was making her really constipated so she is now on soy milk. She loves anything that makes noise or has buttons and anything electronical. She also loves pushing cars around on the ground and going "vroom" and she loves playing with balls and throwing things. She is also walking, and loves it!
She is so cute, and so spoiled!!! I love her smile in the piano picture. :)
