Growing Up!

Time sure has been flying by and I have been updating the blog much.. I should be caught up soon though!

Velocity is now 9 months old! She had a doctors appt. on Dec. 21st and measured at 27" long and weighed 14.5 pounds. The doctor was worried about her growth and my milk supply so he had me pump to see how much I could get. Sadly I was only able to get an ounce, but this was good news cause it meant our little girl didn't have to get blood work done! Although, my low milk supply meant Velocity needed formula. But, she LOVES having it! She also likes to eat anything that mom and dad are eating, and has learned the throwing her food on the ground is fun.. She is also learning that dropping toys and having mom and dad pick them back up is fun too. A couple of big accomplishments have been: learning to crawl!, pulling herself to stand (in and out of the crib), and getting teeth (she has 4 now!), and she is beginning to sleep through the night!!

One of Velocity's favorite things to do is pull herself to stand
on the toy behind her in this pic and unload all of the
newspaper (for starting fires) that is piled behind it.. 

She sure does seem to like to eat paper..
