Velocity:
Velocity turned two years old in March. It is crazy how fast time flies. For her birthday she got an art easel/desk. It has a little spot for her to store all of her paper and crayons when not using it. It also has a spot for her to put her markers and such while using it. Then on the easel side it had a white board but I turned it over and used chalk board paint on it and made it a chalk board instead (didn't really want her free roaming the house with markers...).
At Velocity's 2 year appointment she weighed in at 21 pounds and 32 inches (I think?), either way she is now in the 16th percentile (at 18 months she was in the 8th and at a year she was only in the 3rd).
Some new accomplishments for Velocity are: she can now open our fridge door, she is getting interested in going outside and hitting the ball off of the tee, she can now say yes!, she is starting to repeat what we say, and she is definitely hitting the terrible twos where she loves to push us and tell us no...
Sarah:
Sarah is also growing fast. She is now 4 months old. She just had her doctors appointment and weighed in at 10 pounds 6 ounces and was 25 inches long (she is in the 75 percentile for her age).
Some new accomplishments for Sarah are: she loves to smile, doesn't seem to hate the bath as much, can roll onto her side from her back, is starting to laugh, is getting really good with her hands and can grab all sorts of things pretty quickly, she loves to chew on hers or anyone else's fingers. (she always has her fingers in her mouth). She isn't sleeping through the night yet but is getting close.
